The updated Yamaha Fascino 125 has been spotted undisguised at a dealership, revealing minor design updates and hinting at an imminent launch in India.
The new Yamaha Fascino 125 has been spotted undisguised ahead of its official debut, with units reportedly reaching dealerships, possibly for technician training. This suggests that the launch could take place in the near future.
The most noticeable changes are at the rear, where the facelift introduces a revised turn indicator layout. The indicators are now positioned as separate units on either side, replacing the earlier integrated setup. This change lends the scooter a cleaner and slightly more premium look. Updated decals above the ‘Fascino S’ badge add a fresh visual touch, while the tail lamp design remains largely unchanged.
Elsewhere, the overall design stays familiar. The Fascino retains its retro-modern styling, smooth bodywork and compact proportions, with no significant changes visible at the front or along the sides.

Mechanically, the updated model is expected to continue with the existing 125cc air-cooled, fuel-injected Blue Core hybrid engine. This unit produces around 8.1 bhp and 10.3 Nm, and is paired with Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator system that enables silent starts and provides hybrid assist for improved acceleration.
Feature-wise, the scooter is likely to carry forward elements such as automatic start-stop, side-stand engine cut-off and Y-Connect Bluetooth connectivity. Higher variants could retain the digital console, while potential additions like a TFT display with navigation and music controls may be introduced depending on the variant.
The current Fascino 125 is priced between approximately ₹75,000-₹95,000 (ex-showroom). The facelifted version may see a slight price increase depending on feature upgrades. With units already reaching dealerships, Yamaha is likely to introduce the updated scooter soon, focusing on subtle design revisions and feature enhancements to stay competitive in the segment.
