Weeks after rolling out 3 lakh units of the Tata Punch, Tata Motors has now rolled out 6 lakh units of its immensely popular Tata Nexon from its Pune plant. The Tata Nexon compact SUV recently underwent a facelift receiving massive upgrades to its exterior and interior as well as the introduction of new features. The Tata Nexon is priced between Rs. 8.10 lakh to Rs. 13.80 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It rivals the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and the Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite and even the Renault Kiger in the hotly contested compact SUV space.

Available in Smart, Smart+, Pure, Creative, Creative+, Fearless, and Fearless+ S variants in both petrol and diesel versions. As far as powertrains go, the Nexon gets a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine which produces 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque, coupled to a 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT and 7-speed DCT gearbox. The 2023 Nexon also retains the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel motor which churns out 113 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. This particular engine will come mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT.

Inside, the 2023 Tata Nexon receives significant changes including a two-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo, a redesigned dashboard with sleeker AC vents and a touch-based HVAC control panel. There’s also a wireless charger on offer, along with an air purifier and buttons near the IRVM for an emergency call or breakdown call.
