In this week’s news, we have had quite a few exclusives that should make for exciting times in the future. Besides a few basic model updates, there was also the launch of the new Aprilia Tuono 457. Here’s what made the most impact this week:

Royal Enfield Debuts Flying Flea C6

After its global debut at EICMA 2024, the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 officially landed in India. The new Flying Flea C6 has been scheduled to hit the market from 2026 onwards. While its spec sheet is still under wraps, the brand claims that it will be a lightweight electric bike that will be able to do city commute as well as a few excursions to nearby out-of-city locales. Its retro design is quite authentic, and while some may find it polarising, several premium components fitted give the bike a nice upmarket feel. For more details, check out our exclusive interaction with Mario Alvisi, Chief Growth Officer, EV, Royal Enfield in the video below:

Piaggio’s Two Big Surprises

Piaggio Group India’s Chairman & MD, Diego Graffi exclusively confirmed to us that the brand is working on a new electric scooter specifically for India. This new product will have no relation whatsoever with the Vespa Elettrica that it sells in global markets. In fact, it will be manufactured here at its Baramati facility. Aprilia’s second made-in-India bike, the Tuono 457 also saw its market launch this week. Priced at ₹3.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), this is the most unTuono-Tuono that one can buy in the country. Despite that polarising appeal, the bike felt as exciting and engaging as its fully-faired sibling to ride. To catch all the action, check out our first ride review below:

Production-spec BMW F 450 GS To Launch end-2025

BMW F 450 GS

This week BMW Motorrad confirmed that it will launch its next small-capacity ADV by the end of 2025. The newest entry-level GS will be powered by a new 450 cc, parallel-twin engine, and will look a lot like its elder R 1300 GS. Plus given the fact that it will be manufactured right here in India at TVS’ Hosur facility, we expect the bike to be competitively priced. However, against the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the newly launched KTM 390 Adventure, it will still be a premium proposition. For more details, head to the link here.

Triumph was spotted testing a new updated iteration of the Scrambler 400X. This bike rode on cross-spoke wheels as standard, and boasted a slightly different aesthetic that was more rugged. Alongside, the scrambler, the Triumph Thruxton 400/Speed 400 RR (we’re not sure what Triumph will call this bike yet) was also being tested and going by the looks of it, the bike was almost production ready. Lastly, TVS launched the 2025 iteration of the Ronin this week. While the bikes have not been radically altered as such, there are a few key updates though. For starters, the 226 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine has been updated to comply with the latest emission norms. Plus, there are two new colour options, and dual-channel ABS has been standardised across all variants. To know more about the same, head to the link here
