The Honda Elevate SUV could get a fresh look and more features ahead of the festive season.

Industry rumours suggest that Honda Cars India is preparing to soon launch a refreshed version of its Elevate midsize SUV, with the updated model anticipated to arrive in showrooms during the first week of October.

If true, the upcoming launch is strategically timed to capitalise on peak festive season demand and revive sales momentum for the Japanese automaker in the competitive domestic market. The facelift will primarily focus on aesthetic changes and feature additions while maintaining the core mechanical package of the current vehicle.

On the design front, the Honda Elevate facelift will incorporate several subtle cosmetic revisions designed to give the SUV a modern appearance. Expected changes include a redesigned front grille, the brand's updated 2D emblem, newly designed alloy wheels, and minor alterations to the front and rear LED light signatures. Because the underlying platform and overall body silhouette remain unchanged, the update represents a minor visual refresh rather than a comprehensive redesign.

Inside the cabin, Honda could bridge existing feature gaps to better compete against established segment rivals. The current model already offers a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch semi-digital driver display, automatic climate control, rear air conditioning vents, a wireless phone charger, and a single-pane sunroof.

Under the bonnet, the SUV will retain its existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, capable of generating 119 bhp. Despite consumer interest in electrified powertrains, rumours suggest that Honda is unlikely to introduce the strong-hybrid powertrain from the City e:HEV into the Elevate facelift.
