Bipul Chandra and Geetika Bisla presents the Sub-Compact Car of The Year TOTM for the Citroen eC3.
Citroën only electric vehicle in India, the ëC3, has won the 2024 Acko Drive Awards' Subcompact Car of the Year. The ëC3 won for the simplicity, practicality, comfort and convenience it offers compared to other new launches in the segment.
The ëC3 has been on sale in India for a year now, having launched on February 27, 2023. Citroën launched the ëC3 in India in a bid to make electric vehicles more accessible in India. However, the ëC3 didn’t exactly sell well, clocking just a smidge over 2,500 units since the year it has been on sale in India. It’s a shame since the ëC3 is a well-engineered product, which is also easy to live with, but has been affected by Citroën’s poor sales network.

Currently, the ëC3 is priced between ₹12.70 - 13.50 lakh and comes in two variants – Feel and Shine. The ëC3 comes with features like a 10.2-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four-speaker, reverse camera and 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
