Toyota will launch the Innova Hycross facelift in India on November 25, 2026, marking the MPV's first major product refresh since its market introduction in 2022.
Exterior styling changes are expected to feature a restyled front grille, sleeker LED headlamps, updated front and rear bumpers, and new alloy wheel designs. Prices for the facelifted model are projected to range between ₹20 lakh and ₹35 lakh (ex-showroom).
Inside, the India-spec Innova Hycross is expected to mirror the updated Indonesian-spec Kijang Innova Zenix. Key interior upgrades include a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit replacing the current 10.1-inch screen, alongside a 12.3-inch fully digital driver's display. The cabin will also gain refreshed seat upholstery, revised interior colour schemes, and updated connected-car software. The current 2.0-litre petrol (171 bhp) and 2.0-litre strong-hybrid (181 bhp combined) powertrains are expected to carry forward.
Interestingly, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari recently announced at the ENRich 2026 conference that Toyota will unveil an ethanol-powered Innova Hycross flex-fuel variant in November 2026. So we do expect this variant to debut on November 25 as well.
Engineered to operate on E100 (100 per cent bioethanol) and compatible petrol-ethanol blends, the vehicle will likely combine a flex-fuel petrol engine with Toyota's strong-hybrid system. The electric battery setup allows electric-only running at low speeds, helping offset ethanol's lower energy density.
However, Toyota has yet to announce official bookings, showroom delivery dates, or production specifications. Commercial viability also depends on infrastructure expansion, as a nationwide E100 refueling network remains super thin as of now.
