The new Vanquish can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 344 kmph.
Aston Martin has reintroduced the Vanquish as a new flagship model, combining luxury, supercar performance, and advanced handling. This limited-production vehicle, with fewer than 1,000 units to be made annually, represents a significant milestone in the brand’s 111-year history.
The Vanquish is powered by a twin-turbo 5.2-litre V12 engine, delivering 823 bhp and 1,000 Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an electronic limited-slip differential, the Vanquish can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 344 kmph. This makes it the fastest series production car in Aston Martin's history.
Structurally, the Vanquish benefits from a bonded aluminium body, offering a 75 per cent increase in lateral stiffness compared to the DBS 770 Ultimate. The wheelbase has been extended by 80 mm and the suspension features revised Bilstein DTX dampers, allowing for a more pronounced difference between comfort and sport driving modes.
In terms of handling, the Vanquish is equipped with thicker anti-roll bars, a recalibrated electric power steering system, and a new electronic stability control system. The latter uses advanced algorithms to predict grip levels and manage vehicle stability. The braking system includes carbon ceramic discs, measuring 410 mm in the front and 360 mm in the rear, offering enhanced braking performance and reduced fade at high temperatures.
Design-wise, the Vanquish combines classic Aston Martin styling with modern elements. The front features a wide grille, Matrix LED headlights, and a pronounced splitter, while the hood includes F1-inspired "thermos louvres" for cooling. The car's side profile showcases carbon fibre bodywork, flush-mounted door handles, and 21-inch forged alloy wheels with Pirelli P Zero tyres. At the rear, the Vanquish sports a "Kamm Tail," seven LED light blades, a large diffuser, and a stainless steel four-tailpipe exhaust system, with an optional titanium exhaust for weight reduction.
Inside, the Vanquish is a strict two-seater with a cabin design reminiscent of the Vantage and DB12. It features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, 16-way power front seats, and a combination of Alcantara and semi-aniline leather upholstery. The car also includes a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system and optional wood trim.
Pricing details have not been disclosed, but the first deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter.
