The decision to implement the price hike has been attributed to the escalating input and operational costs.
Audi India has announced a price increase of up to 2 per cent across its model range in India, effective from January 1, 2024. The decision to implement the price hike has been attributed to the escalating input and operational costs impacting the automotive industry. Audi India has experienced significant growth in recent months, reporting an impressive 88 per cent increase and retailing 5,530 units in the first nine months of the year, claiming the third spot in the luxury car segment behind Mercedes-Benz India and BMW India.

Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India said, “Due to rising supply-chain-related input and operational costs, we have effected a price correction across our model range, maintaining the brand’s premium price positioning. The price correction aims to ensure sustainable growth for Audi India and our dealer partners, and we will ensure that the price hike's impact is as minimal as possible for customers."
The brand's diverse electric vehicle (EV) portfolio, claimed to be the widest in its segment, has contributed to this success. Additionally, the Audi Approved: plus pre-owned car business witnessed a substantial 63 per cent growth during the same period.
In response to the growing demand for electric vehicles, Audi India has introduced an industry-first initiative called 'Charge my Audi' on the 'myAudiConnect' app. This feature provides Audi e-Tron customers with a one-stop solution, offering access to multiple electric vehicle charging partners through a single app. As of now, more than 1000 charging points are available to Audi e-tron owners through the 'Charge my Audi' platform.
Audi India's product portfolio comprises a diverse range of models, including the Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A8 L, Audi Q3, Audi Q3 Sportback, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi Q8, Audi S5 Sportback, Audi RS5 Sportback, Audi RS Q8, Audi Q8 50 e-tron, Audi Q8 55 e-tron, Audi Q8 Sportback 50 e-tron, Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron, Audi e-tron GT, and Audi RS e-tron GT.
