The updated Q7 will get new Matrix LED headlamps, new LED taillamps, redesigned bumpers and revised air intakes. It will also get new designs for the alloy wheels and also come with new exterior colours: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey and Glacier White. Sadly the Ascari Blue does not make it to the list, though it is one of the bolder colours on offer globally.

The Q7 will be locally assembled at the company’s Aurangabad plant and will be available with a 3-litre V6 churning out 335 bhp and 500 Nm, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels. Globally, the Q7 also comes with a diesel and more powerful V8 turbo-petrol engine, but neither will make it to the Indian market. Audi says that the Q7 can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 5.6 seconds and boasts of a top speed of 250 kmph.

Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said, “With the new Audi Q7, we are offering enhanced features, a refreshed exterior design and new fascinating lights.”
