The Magnite has received over 10,000 bookings since its launch.

Nissan closed 2024 on a high note, achieving its best-ever December sales performance, driven primarily by strong export numbers. The company reported total wholesale dispatches of 11,676 units in December 2024, comprising 2,118 domestic sales and 9,558 export units. This reflects a 72 per cent year-on-year growth in exports and a 43 per cent increase compared to November 2024, underscoring sustained demand in international markets.

While export sales thrived, domestic sales presented a mixed picture. Total domestic sales for calendar year 2024 stood at 29,009 units, marking a 3.54 per cent decline from 2023 levels. However, the strong export focus helped Nissan achieve total sales of 91,184 units in CY 2024, with exports contributing 62,175 units, more than double the domestic sales figure. This reflects a strategic pivot toward leveraging global markets to drive growth. In comparison to CY 2023, when exports totalled 31,667 units, Nissan’s CY 2024 exports nearly doubled. The fiscal year-to-date (FY-YTD) export total reached 51,764 units.

The Nissan Magnite continued to be a standout performer in 2024. Since its relaunch in October, the Magnite has received over 10,000 bookings, reaffirming its popularity. Cumulative sales of the model have surpassed 150,000 units, reflecting its steady demand in both domestic and international markets. Within a month of its launch in South Africa, over 2,700 units were shipped.
