Mahindra’s passenger vehicle business witnessed a 15 per cent YoY growth.
Mahindra & Mahindra sold 66,444 units in July 2024, witnessing a marginal growth compared to July 2023. Compared to June 2024, Mahindra saw a 5 per cent decrease in sales in the previous month.
The Indian brand sold 41,623 passenger vehicles in the domestic market, registering a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 15 per cent. In July, Mahindra also exported 1,515 units and exports declined by 40 per cent compared to the same period last year.
In the first seven months of 2024, Mahindra sold more than 1.65 lakh units which was a YoY growth of 22 per cent. In the same period, it exported 8,640 units which means its exports declined by 9 per cent compared to the same period last year.
Mahindra & Mahindra’s commercial vehicle sales tallied 19,713 units which is a YoY decline of 5 per cent. The homegrown manufacturer sold 3,593 units of three-wheelers in the month gone by. Of all the commercial vehicles, only the medium & heavy commercial vehicles and light commercial vehicles with over 3.5 tonnes saw significant growth, the rest have seen a decline.
