Auto Sales June 2024: Bajaj Sales Rise 5% Compared To Last Year

Bajaj reported a positive growth trajectory for June 2024. The company's total sales figures reached 3,58,477 units, marking a 5% increase compared to June 2023's figures of 3,40,981 units. Last month the company sold about 355,323 units. 

Bajaj witnessed an 8% surge in sales in the domestic market. It sold a total of 2,16,451 units in June 2024, compared to 1,99,983 units in the same month last year. This saw some amount of dip as compared to last month where the company did 2,25,087 units. While exports witnessed a marginal increase of 1%, reaching 1,42,026 units from 1,40,998 units in June 2023, the export market emerged as a clear driver of growth for Bajaj in June 2024.

Interestingly, commercial vehicles emerged as a bright spot. Sales in this category saw a significant jump of 16%, with 54,831 units sold in June 2024 compared to 47,332 units in June 2023. This indicates a growing preference for Bajaj’s commercial vehicles in the Indian market.

The company is gearing up for the launch of its much-awaited 125 cc CNG bike on July 5th. This strategic move could potentially tap into a new segment of eco-conscious riders and further propel Bajaj’s sales growth. Additionally, the recent launch of the powerful Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, along with multiple updates across the Pulsar lineup, might be contributing to the positive sales momentum.
