Auto Sales June 2024: JSW MG Motor India Sees 9% Drop

JSW MG Motor India retailed over 4,644 units in June 2024, seeing a dip of 9 per cent compared to June 2023. Compared to May 2024, the brand saw a 2 per cent downtick in sales in June. 

The marque also mentioned that the ZS EV saw its highest-ever sales in June 2024. With 1,861 units sold last month, the brand’s EV comprised 40 per cent of the total sales in the month gone by. Interestingly, the demand for the ZS EV has been on a steady increase as MG also claimed that in May 2024, it registered the highest-ever sales figure for the electric SUV. 

In India, JSW MG Motor India currently retails the Comet, ZS EV, Hector, Hector Plus and Gloster. Recently, the brand introduced two new special editions of the Gloster – Desertstorm and Snowstorm. Both editions get exterior and interior upgrades and prices start at ₹41.05 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Furthermore, MG Cloud EV is also expected to be added to the brand's India portfolio by September.
