Nissan Motor India has crossed an export milestone of 1.1 million units since the start of its export operations. The company reached the milestone on June 29, 2024, as it exported the Nissan Magnite from the Ennore Kamarajar Port in Tamil Nadu. Additionally, the company also registered cumulative wholesale of 10284 units, with Year-on-Year growth of 76.3 per cent and Month-on-Month growth of 65.7 per cent.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said, “Our export strategy and capabilities coupled with Magnite's strong demand reflect our undeterred focus on meeting customer needs across the international markets.”
As the export wholesale accounted for 8177 units in June 2024, the company registered a YoY growth of 149 per cent and MoM growth of 104 per cent while the domestic wholesale accounted for 2107 units in June 2024. Nissan Motor India has been on an upward trajectory with the Magnite. Since its launch in December 2020, the company has sold over 1.40 lakh units in India as well as globally.
Moving forward, the company will focus on expanding its network footprint across the country. With recent additions in Srinagar, Salem, Delhi and Durgapur, Nissan now boasts a network of 272 touchpoints, providing quality sales and service experiences to customers nationwide.
