Hyundai India recorded a new annual sales milestone in the financial 2024.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has crossed a new milestone of highest-ever sales in the financial year 2023-24 (FY 2024). Hyundai sold nearly 7.78 lakh units, registering a year-on-year growth of eight per cent. Furthermore, in March 2024, Hyundai sold 65,601 units with a YoY growth of seven per cent.

Domestic sales in FY 2024 amounted to 6.15 lakh units, witnessing a YoY growth of 8.3 per cent. Exports for Hyundai in FY 2024 totalled up to 1.63 lakh units, a growth of 6.7 per cent compared to FY 2023. Additionally, these are the highest-ever annual sales recorded by Hyundai ever since its inception in 1997.
In March 2024, Hyundai sold 53,001 units in the domestic market, registering a YoY growth of just five per cent. However, exports saw a YoY growth of 16 per cent, with Hyundai exporting 12,600 units in March 2024.

Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India, said, “FY 23-24 sales number of 7.77 lacs is a testimony to the great acceptance of our diverse product line-up with 8% year-on-year growth over LY in total sales. These are the highest sales reported by HMIL since its inception. As we move forward into 2024-25, we will continue to work diligently towards creating more excitement and enhanced value for our beloved customers.”
