Kia’s sales in March 2025 grew by 19 per cent, and this can attributed to the success of the Syros.
Kia India has announced it sold a smidge over 2.55 lakh units in India during the financial year 2024-25 (FY25), registering a growth of 4 per cent compared to the last financial year. In March 2025, Kia India sold 25,525 units, a growth of 19 per cent compared to March 2024.
In the final quarter of FY25, Kia managed to sell 75,576 units witnessing a growth of 15.6 per cent compared to the same period last year when it sold 65,369 units. This growth can be attributed to the launch of the Syros, which has garnered 15,986 unit sales in two months as it was launched on February 1, 2025. Kia India also launched new premium cars in India – Carnival and EV9 – which helped brand gain momentum as a premium manufacturer, aiding in sales growth.
Hardeep Singh Brar, Sr. VP and Head of Sales and Marketing, said, “Our strong sales growth is a testament to the trust our customers have in Kia’s products and our commitment to delivering world-class mobility solutions.”
The Sonet remained the best-selling car for Kia India, contributing 30 per cent of total sales for the brand in March 2025. It was followed by Seltos, Carens and Syros, which contributed to 26, 22 and 20 per cent of the total sales in March 2025, respectively. The remaining two per cent includes Kia’s three premium cars – Carnival, EV6 and EV9.
