Both the Honda City and the Amaze have been strong performers for the company
Honda Cars India registered monthly domestic sales of 4,660 units in May 2023. The export numbers stood at 587 units. Compared to April 2023 numbers as well, the May sales figures marked a decline of nearly 12 per cent, while the year on year decline is more than 50 per cent.

Yuichi Murata, Director, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd said, “Our sales for the month of May’23 was in line with our plan. The Amaze and City continued to perform well and get strong customer preference.”

The company is all set to shift gears with the launch of its new compact SUV this year in India. The Honda Elevate will make its world premiere on June 6, 2023 and we will know more about the car very soon.
