TVS sold 22 per cent more scooters in November 2024, compared to November 2023.
TVS Motor Company reported that its monthly two-wheeler sales in November 2024 grew by 12 per cent compared to November 2023 sales figures. The Hosur-based manufacturer retailed 3,92,473 units last month in both domestic and foreign markets, compared to 3,52,103 units it did in November 2023. Particularly impressive was its scooter sales which grew by 22 per cent, from 1,35,749 units in November 2023, to 1,65,535 units in November 2024. This can be credited to the popularity of the new TVS Jupiter 110 which gained popularity soon after its introduction a few months back.
But the most noteworthy jump was made by the TVS’s sole electric offering, the iQube. Its sales increased by a massive 57 per cent, from 16,782 units in November 2023 to 26,292 units in November 2024.
While TVS's overall two-wheeler sales in the domestic market grew by 12 per cent, its motorcycle sales also increased by 6 per cent last month. In fact, out of the 3,92,473 two-wheelers the brand retailed last month, 180,247 units were motorcycles, while the rest comprised scooters.
TVS’ export business also saw positive growth, growing by 25 per cent cumulatively. At the same time, it exported 34 per cent more two-wheelers last month, with sales increasing from 65,086 units in November 2023 to 87,150 units in November 2024.
