Hyundai sold 68,728 units last month, registering a year-on-year growth of 18 per cent.
Hyundai Motor India has released its sales report for October 2023. The South Korean manufacturer sold 68,728 units in the previous month, registering a year-on-year growth of 18 per cent compared to the same period in 2022. This figure includes domestic sales and exports for Hyundai. In September 2023, Hyundai recorded its highest-ever monthly sales figure of 71,641 units (domestic sales and exports combined).
In October, Hyundai sold 55,128 units of passenger vehicles in the domestic market. It recorded a year-on-year growth of nearly 15 per cent when compared to October 2022 where it sold 48,001 units.

Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India said, “As we enter the peak of the festive season in India, Hyundai Motor India registered a robust sales number of 55 128 units in the domestic market in October. The recent announcement of standardising 6 airbags across all Hyundai models and variants has been extremely well received by our valued customers. Also, the supply situation is back to full normalcy and our network is geared up to delight customers with the delivery of their favourite Hyundai cars”.
During the same period, Hyundai exported 13,600 units, registering a growth of nearly 36 per cent compared to last year. Hyundai exported 10,005 units in October 2022.
