The company recorded 3,23,230 Vahan registrations during the month, showing 19% year-on-year growth. Hero MotoCorp also became the first Indian manufacturer to cross 125 million cumulative two-wheeler production.
Motorcycles accounted for 6,26,217 units in September, up 5% from 5,97,529 units last year and higher than August's 5,01,523 units. However, year-to-date motorcycle volumes of 28,02,266 units remain slightly below the 28,57,090 units recorded in the same period last year.
Scooters performed strongly with 61,003 units dispatched, marking a 54% year-on-year increase from 39,521 units. This was down 17% from August's 52,204 units. Year-to-date scooter dispatches reached 2,55,506 units, up 29% from 1,97,750 units previously.
Domestic dispatches totalled 6,47,582 units compared to 6,16,706 units in September 2024, and 5,19,139 units in August 2025.

Hero MotoCorp’s all-electric subsidiary, Vida, registered 12,736 units in September, with the company's electric vehicle market share increasing from 4.7% to 12.2% year-on-year. The recently launched Vida VX2 has driven demand, which the company says exceeds supply in several markets.
