With two more launches planned for 2024, the South Korean automaker is likely to capitalise well on the upcoming festive period
By selling 22,523 units in the month of August 2024, Kia Motors has improved its year-on-year performance by 17.19 percent, thus making it quite a neat precursor to the upcoming festive season. No prizes for guessing that the Sonet is the highest selling Kia car, nearly making up half of the total sales. Here’s how each car performed:
Model | Sales |
Sonet | 10,073 |
Seltos | 6,536 |
Carens | 5,881 |
EV6 | 33 |
Kia’s Senior Vice President and National Head of Sales & Marketing, Hardeep Singh Brar said, “Our continuously strong sales performance reflects the trust and confidence our customers place in the Kia brand. This success is a testament to the company’s strategic optimization of the products, making our vehicles most compelling and value-for-money".
The company has already announced its plans for the remainder of 2024. It will be bringing in two more products. The Kia EV9 electric SUV has already bagged the title of the 2024 World Car of the Year and is set to arrive shortly. Along with the EV9, the Carnival will once again make its way down into the country. Both cars are expected to arrive in the coming few months.
