Digital distributor of automotive parts, Autoverse Mobility on Tuesday unveiled a slew of new programmes aimed at bringing greater structure and transparency to India's automotive aftermarket. The announcements were made at the company's Motor Mechanic Day 2026 event and centred on three areas: verified parts, digital tools for customers and garages, and readiness for the growing electric vehicle (EV) segment.
Autoverse has introduced a warranty scheme it describes as the first of its kind in the sector. As part of the scheme, garage owners will be able to source parts with greater assurance, supported by a digital traceability system that follows components through the supply chain to confirm authenticity. The programme is intended to address the persistent problem of counterfeit parts reaching workshops. It is currently available for a limited selection of brands, with a wider national rollout planned.
The firm has also launched a mechanic discovery tool built around WhatsApp, allowing vehicle owners to find and contact verified garages, those confirmed to stock genuine parts, by messaging 888 499 8600. The feature is aimed at drivers who feel uncertain about using independent workshops rather than manufacturer-authorised service centres.
With India's vehicle fleet gradually shifting towards electric power, the company has introduced an EV Mechanic Certification Programme to train independent mechanics in the specifics of electric vehicle maintenance. The aim is to ensure that local workshops remain equipped to service EVs as petrol and diesel vehicles are progressively replaced.
The event also marked the launch of Pynoseal, an underbody coating product developed in collaboration with Paracoat Products Limited. The occasion brought together several industry participants including Sumax Industries, Lumax Auto, and Delux Bearings, as well as Getafix, a provider of garage management software focused on digitising workshop operations.
"The future of mobility is defined by the strength of the ecosystem that supports it," Rama Shankar Pandey, Co-founder of Autoverse Mobility, said in a statement.
"For too long, the aftermarket has been fragmented. By empowering mechanics with the right tools and transparency, we are creating a scalable, reliable future for Indian automotive care."
