Bajaj clocked ₹44,685 crores in revenue in FY24, which is a 23 per cent year-on-year increase in sales.

The 2023-24 financial year was one of the most successful business years for Bajaj Auto, for the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer closed last year with revenue of ₹44,685 crore. This is a 23 per cent year-on-year increase from FY23’s revenue sales, taking into account both vehicle sales and spares. A strong domestic performance combined with a ‘resilient model’ lineup has been accredited by Bajaj behind this consistent growth.

The domestic business achieved its largest revenue with double-digit growth on the trot for eight quarters. Moreover, Bajaj emerged as the largest 125cc+ player for the year, led by Pulsar’s biggest year, where the growth rate was 8 times of the rest of the industry. Bajaj-owned KTM had its biggest year yet, followed by Triumph Motorcycles which had already delivered 42,000 units of its newly launched Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X in its eight months post-launch.

However, exports were not that high throughout the year, but it did pick up in the second half to close the year flat. The Latin America Middle East and North African regions helped keep exports steady, with LATAM achieving its highest sales as of yet.

Bajaj’s sole electric two-wheeler offering, the Chetak’s volume also grew by three times Year-on-Year and it was the number 3 player in the segment, up from number 7 last year, in terms of sales. This can be credited to ramping up production and also rapid expansion of dealerships.
