Benelli has designed the TRK 902 Stradale as a road-biased sport tourer instead of a trail basher like the TRK 902 Xplorer.
Benelli has unveiled the TRK 902 Xplorer, a rugged adventure tourer.. The Italian brand also pulled off the covers from the TRK 902 Stradale, a more road-biased version of the former. As expected, the TRK 902 Stradale borrows most of its features and underpinnings from the Xplorer.
Visually, there’s nothing much to differentiate between Stradale and Xplorer. One could say that the Stradale is a milder version of the Xplorer. These include coloured alloy wheels instead of wire spoked wheels of the Xplorer. The smaller 17-inch alloy wheels in the Stradale are wrapped with Pirelli Angel GT 2 tyres, making it more suitable for tarmac than loose surfaces.

Underpinned by the same steel frame as the Xplorer, the Stradale is suspended on a 43 mm Marzocchi upside-down fork and a rear monoshock with a remote preload adjuster. Moreover, suspension travel has been reduced to 130mm from the Xplorer’s 170mm. As a result, seat height has gone down to 805mm, making it accessible for a wider range of riders. Braking duties will be handled by Brembo callipers with dual 12.6-inch front discs and a 10.2-inch rear disc aided by switchable dual-channel ABS.
In terms of features, the Benelli TRK 902 Stradale comes equipped with a 7-inch TFT display, navigation system, a sizable 20-litre fuel tank, electrically adjustable windscreen, and cruise control. Benelli has equipped the TRK 902 Stradale with a Bosch ride-by-wire system that offers a wide range of electronic riding aids including three riding modes namely Sport, Touring, and Urban; traction control, quick shifter, tyre pressure monitoring system, and heated grips and seats.
Benelli is also offering an added layer of convenience and safety including a luggage system, crash bars, dashcam, and even radar-based blind-spot detection with visual alerts on the mirrors and dash. The radar system projects its warnings onto both the TFT display and the mirrors.

Powering the TRK 902 Stradale is the same Euro 5+ 904 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine as the Xplorer but with a slightly different tuning. In the Stradale, this motor pumps out 95 bhp at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 90 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The power mill is mated to a 6-speed gearbox paired with a quickshifter and slipper clutch.
Benelli is unlikely to bring the TRK 902 Stradale to India anytime in the near or distant future. Its present Indian portfolio is dominated by sub-500cc motorcycles including the likes of 502C, TRK 502, TRK 502X, and Leoncino.
