Bgauss RUV350 Electric Scooter India Launch On June 25

BGauss, an electric scooter manufacturer, has unveiled the name of its upcoming electric scooter as RUV350. The RUV is an acronym for Recreational Utility Vehicle (RUV). As the official unveiling of the scooter itself is set for June 25th, details about the RUV350 remain scarce.

BGauss is positioning the RUV350 as a premium offering compared to its existing C12 model. Specific details regarding Bgauss RUV350 performance, technology, and design are yet to be revealed. However, the company has hinted at a rugged build suitable for various terrains, suggesting the RUV350 might cater to riders seeking a scooter beyond just city commutes. From the teaser images we can make out that it looks like a proper utility electric scooter with large wheels (possibly 14 or 16 inch). Other details that we can see are LED headlight and indicators and a digital instrument cluster, whether it’s a TFT or LCD unit is something we will only know at the time of the launch. Also it has a conventional motor and not a hub-mounted motor signaling that it will be a premium offering and performance should be good. 

The Bgauss RUV350 marks BGauss's second foray into the electric scooter market, following the success of the C12 which comes in three variants. BGauss has over 40,000 customers and a network of 125 showrooms across India. It aims to compete with established players in the rapidly growing Indian electric vehicle market, which is currently dominated by companies like Ola Electric, Ather, TVS, Hero, and Hero Electric.
