Besides the new powertrain, the BMW 320Ld M Sport Pro Edition also gets a few aesthetic tweaks.
BMW India has expanded its 3 Series Gran Limousine range in the country with the introduction of the 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro Edition with a diesel powertrain at ₹65 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The new addition sits at the top of the range as the most expensive trim, whereas the standard diesel version is priced at ₹62 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The two petrol versions- the 330Li M Sport, and the 330Li M Sport Pro Edition are priced at ₹60.60 lakh and ₹62.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India) respectively. This also makes the new 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro Edition the most expensive 3 Series in the country.
The sports sedan will be available with only metallic paint options: Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, Carbon Black, and Portimao Blue. Beyond that, the interior will also feature an exclusive M headliner Anthracite upholstery as standard. As for the aesthetic updates, the front fascia has been enhanced with a blacked-out kidney grille adorned by adaptive LED headlights with M Lights Shadowline on both sides. Inside, the cabin benefits from high-quality materials, and some of the standout comfort features include electrically adjustable seats, a panoramic sunroof, and three-zone automatic climate control.
Under the hood, the BMW 320Ld M Sport Pro Edition packs the brand’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which produces 190 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. It also comes with an 8-speed Steptronic sport automatic transmission. Performance-wise, this diesel Beemer can accelerate from 0 to 100 mph in 7.6 seconds, which is 0.8 seconds slower than its petrol counterpart.
