Bolt.Earth and MapmyIndia have formed a strategic partnership to integrate Bolt.Earth’s EV charging network into MapmyIndia’s mapping and navigation platforms.
In a major move to streamline the charging infrastructure landscape for electric vehicle users in India, Bolt.Earth, the country’s largest EV charging network, has announced a strategic collaboration with digital mapping and navigation firm MapmyIndia (MMI). The partnership is designed to make Bolt.Earth's nationwide network of four-wheeler EV chargers more accessible and discoverable to drivers through third-party platforms.
Under the terms of this new technical alliance, MapmyIndia users will be able to directly locate Bolt.Earth’s standard Level 2 (L2) AC chargers and high-capacity DC fast chargers natively within their primary mapping application. This integration vastly expands commercial visibility for individual charging station owners while offering electric car drivers a convenient way to navigate toward active charging points without needing to toggle between multiple standalone applications.
Beyond MMI's consumer-facing app, the integration into MapmyIndia’s broader enterprise map and navigation ecosystem will extend Bolt.Earth’s infrastructure footprint across multiple automotive and corporate platforms used by millions of motorists nationwide.
The initial rollout has been achieved using the standard Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI) protocol, allowing Bolt.Earth to seamlessly integrate approximately 350 Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations into the MapmyIndia database. Both engineering teams are actively collaborating to ensure that users across all MMI-powered navigation systems can effortlessly locate, evaluate, and route themselves to active EV charging locations via continuous API sharing and data synchronisation.

Mohit Yadav, Founder of Bolt.Earth, noted that extending infrastructure visibility across MapmyIndia’s expansive network of applications provides private charger owners with greater commercial reach while giving electric vehicle drivers the range of confidence needed to embrace zero-emission mobility.
Sapna Ahuja, President of the Automotive Business and Chief Operating Officer at MapmyIndia, confirmed that through this API integration, Bolt.Earth’s two-wheeler, three-wheeler, and four-wheeler charging network has been fully mapped across MMI platforms. She highlighted that as MapmyIndia continues to onboard multiple charging point operators across the country, its navigation users can now seamlessly discover more than 18,000 individual electric vehicle chargers throughout India.
