Vision AI platform will be integrated across Samsung's entire television range.
Samsung has revealed its most sophisticated television lineup to date at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, centred around the company's innovative Samsung Vision AI platform.
The Vision AI platform, which will be integrated across Samsung's entire television range including Neo QLED, OLED, QLED, and The Frame models, leverages on-device processing to deliver enhanced viewing experiences. The system introduces advanced features such as AI Upscaling for improved resolution, Auto HDR Remastering for enhanced colour depth, and Adaptive Sound Pro for optimised audio delivery.
A standout innovation is the Click to Search functionality, activated through Samsung's new SolarCell remote. This feature enables viewers to instantly access information about on-screen content, from actor identifications to location details, without interrupting their viewing experience.
The company has also introduced Samsung Food, an AI-powered culinary assistant that can recognise dishes shown on television, generate recipes, and facilitate grocery shopping directly through the TV interface.
Accessibility and security receive significant attention in the 2025 lineup. The Live Translate feature offers real-time caption translation in seven languages, while Audio Subtitles provides enhanced dialogue clarity for visually impaired users. Samsung AI Home Security transforms these televisions into security monitoring stations, capable of detecting unusual activity and sending alerts to connected devices.
The integration extends to enhanced voice control through an upgraded Bixby assistant, capable of processing multiple commands simultaneously. Additionally, Universal Gestures allows Galaxy Watch users to control their TVs through hand movements.
Samsung's commitment to merging technology with art continues with The Frame Pro, featuring Neo QLED technology and access to an expanded Art Store containing over 3,000 pieces from prestigious institutions.
Beyond traditional television formats, Samsung previewed innovative displays including The Premiere 5, a triple-laser projector with touch capabilities, and the MICRO LED Beauty Mirror, which provides personalised skincare analysis.
