Citroën Basalt Coupé SUV will be officially revealed on 2 August
Citroën has released yet another teaser for its upcoming Basalt coupé SUV, this time offering a glimpse of the car's interior for the very first time. With its official debut scheduled for August 2, this teaser has provided a peek into what can be expected from this coupé SUV.
We have already seen what the Basalt will look like as the company has already revealed the car online. This new teaser video, however, takes viewers inside the SUV, showcasing some key design elements. A prominent feature is the floating touchscreen infotainment system. The dashboard itself appears to be adorned with a textured panel, hinting at a potentially upscale cabin experience.
Citroën remains tight-lipped on specifics regarding the interior layout. However, it is likely to share similarities with the C3 Aircross.
The teaser shows seats with adjustable headrests that have side support. Notably, both front and rear seats benefit from armrests, with the rear units incorporating cupholders and a dedicated phone holder for added convenience on journeys.

Intriguingly, the video also offers a brief look at the Citroën Basalt's LED daytime running lights and projector headlamps. This also suggests potential design upgrades that might find their way onto the C3 Aircross in the future.
Citroën's Basalt coupé SUV is readying itself to be a stylish contender in the Indian market. It is slated to challenge rivals like the Tata Curvv which has been recently revealed and will be launched next month. Initially, the Basalt will be offered with a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine which is expected to deliver 115 bhp and 215 Nm. This engine will likely be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
