While the exact ex-showroom price of the new Citroen C3 is yet to be officially revealed, the range now starts from ₹6.16 lakh.
After the unofficial showcase alongside Basalt's launch, the newly updated Citroën C3 range has finally made it to all La Maison Citroën showrooms across India. Starting from ₹6.16 lakh, the C3 has also gained a few features, giving the micro SUV a much-needed oomph against the likes of the Hyundai Exter and Tata Punch.
Speaking on the occasion of this launch, Shishir Mishra, Brand Director, Citroën India, These upgrades mark a bold step forward in our commitment to delivering the best-in-class driving experience. We've meticulously refined every aspect of the vehicle—from safety and technology to comfort and convenience. We are confident that this new version will appeal to an even wider audience, reinforcing our dedication to innovation and exceptional driving experiences that evolve with our customers' needs.”
Starting with the most important update, the introduction of the 6-speed automatic transmission. While the exact ex-showroom price of variants with this gearbox is yet to be officially confirmed, it will be available with the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 109 bhp and 190 Nm.
As for its features, the exterior sees the addition of new LED projector headlamps and auto-folding ORVMs. The interior benefits from automatic air conditioning and switches to the power windows on all four doors. Safety-wise, six airbags (thus adhering to the Government's mandate) and ISOFIX child seats are the gains, and the second row now also comes equipped with three-point safety belts.
