Acer has launched its Nitro series of smart monitors and Predator gaming monitors with OLED screens.
Acer has unveiled a range of smart monitors as part of a pre-Computex 2024 showcase. The company has launched its Nitro series of smart monitors for hybrid work, education, entertainment, and Predator gaming monitors with OLED screens. The new monitors were showcased alongside the Business and Consumer Laptops & AIO PCs.
The new Acer DA1 and Nitro GA1 series include 31.5-inch and 27-inch models with many smart features. The monitors are capable of functioning as an entertainment hub for streaming content, an extended desktop for productivity, or a reliable gaming display. Both series include 4K and QHD resolution options, with refresh rates of up to 180Hz for a smooth gameplay experience.
Some of the key features include wireless projection and screen mirroring for cable-free connectivity. The Google TV functionality provides access to popular streaming apps without additional devices. In addition, the built-in Multiview function splits the screen to allow for simultaneous viewing and control of multiple sources.
These monitors also support Bluetooth and wireless connectivity options, while the ergonomic stands offer flexible adjustment and the VESA wall mounting frees up desk space.
Acer has announced three new high-performance Predator monitors, including the 27-inch X27U F3 with a blistering 480Hz refresh rate, the 31.5-inch 4K X32 X3 with 240Hz support, and the ultra-wide 34-inch X34 X5 with its expansive curved display.
All three Predator monitors feature OLED panels with DCI-P3 colour gamuts for stunning visuals and are NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, while the AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technologies minimize visual artifacts.
