Dell unveils its first laptops utilizing the Qualcomm Snapdragon X platform.
Dell has announced a new lineup of laptops powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon X Elite, Snapdragon X Plus SoCs and backed by Copilot+. It represents a major strategic shift for Dell as it launches its first computers utilizing the Qualcomm Snapdragon X platform.
The headlining product is Dell's new XPS 13 laptop, which is now powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite SoC. The upgraded XPS 13 promises blazing performance with up to 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS) of integrated AI processing. It also provides stunning battery life thanks to the efficient Snapdragon platform.
Despite the powerful new internals, the XPS 13 retains its iconic slim and lightweight design. Moreover, users can customize it with up to 64GB of RAM and 4TB of storage. It will be available in different display options ranging from Full HD+ to a 3K OLED display. The connectivity options include high-speed USB4 and optional 5G network support.
Dell also brings the Snapdragon X Plus to its Inspiron and X Elite to its Latitude lineup. Business users will appreciate the Snapdragon-powered Latitude 7455 and 5455, which offer robust security and manageability.
The student-friendly Inspiron 14 and 14 Plus claim to provide exceptional battery life and audio/video capabilities in lightweight designs.
The new Dell XPS 13 with Snapdragon is available for pre-order at $1299 (≈ Rs 1,08,204), and the Inspiron 14 Plus is also available for pre-order at $1099 (≈ Rs 91,545).
