This is the third prestigious recognition that the Ducati Diavel V4 has won this year.
Ducati’s have always looked sexy. While the current portfolio has several brilliant-looking machines, sitting at the top and all by itself is the Diavel V4, a power cruiser of its kind. Further affirming its iconic stature and brilliant eye-catching design, the Red Dot Award has accredited it with the “Best of Best” award in its Product Design Category. This is the highest recognition of the competition, which is reserved exclusively “for creations capable of setting a new standard in the benchmark sector” , the press release stated.
Speaking about its key highlights, the Diavel V4 is powered by a 1,158 cc V4 engine that is rated at 168 bhp and 126 Nm. It comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a quickshifter is standard. But more than the engine, it's the way the new Diavel V4 has been designed. Coupled with the fact that the word Diavel translates to devil in Bolognese. The evil spirit comes to the fore, right from the front section which is flanked by two big air inlets, and that tail light, which in itself is a visual spectacle — down to those 240-section rear tyre wrapped around a delicious looking machined five-spoke alloy wheel, and the quad mufflers.

Further making this devilish look functional is the new monocoque chassis that underpins the bike. As a consequence, despite its muscular proportions, the new chassis has helped reduce 12 kg of kerb weight from before, when the bike was underpinned by a trellis chassis.
Moreover, this isn’t the first time that the Diavel moniker has won this prestigious award. Previous iterations, which include the Ducati XDiavel in 2016 and the Diavel 1260 in 2019 have also been recipients of this prestigious award before. And in addition to the Red Dot award, the Diavel V4 has also won the Good Design Award, and a special mention at the German Design Award 2024. Speak about recognition.
