Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Teased Ahead Of India Launch

Ducati India has teased the upcoming Multistrada V4 RS on social media, signalling its imminent launch in the country. This high-performance adventure tourer, which debuted globally last year, was previously listed on Ducati India's website.

The Multistrada V4 RS features a 1103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, borrowed from the Panigale V4 but tuned differently. It produces 177 bhp at 12,250 rpm and 118 Nm at 9,500 rpm. The bike is also 3 kg lighter than the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak model.

Various components, including 17-inch Marchesini forged aluminium wheels and a titanium subframe, contribute to weight reduction. The redesigned tail section further contributes to weight savings.

The suspension system includes a 48 mm Ohlins front fork and an Ohlins TTX36 rear mono-shock, both fully adjustable. Braking is handled by Brembo Stylema calipers. Electronic aids include engine brake control, wheelie control, traction control, and switchable ABS. Four power modes are available: Full, High, Medium, and Low.

The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is expected to be priced between ₹30-35 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the BMW M 1000 XR in the high-performance adventure touring segment.
