This collector’s edition is a tribute to the brand’s iconic 90-degree, V-twin engine – the Superquadro.
Ducati has unveiled a very special collector's edition motorcycle in the form of the new Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition. This limited series of 555 units pays tribute to the brand’s most iconic L-twin Superquadro engine as it reaches the end of its production run. Moreover, Ducati is also celebrating Nicolò Bulega's victory in the 2023 Supersport World Championship, which is the brand’s first title in the category.
The Superquadro series of engines was first introduced in 2011 with the 1199 Panigale. It has been a cornerstone of Ducati's superbike and for subsequent supersport models for over a decade. Its name was derived from the high bore-to-stroke ratio and has set a benchmark with the best power output in its class.
The Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition features the 955 cc version of the engine, that develops 155 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 104 Nm at 9,000 rpm, i.e. the same as the standard Panigale V2’s output figures. The bike's exclusive livery is designed by Drudi Performance in collaboration with Centro Stile Ducati. It showcases Ducati's signature colours: white, red, black, and grey. Making this limited edition bike all the more cool is the technical drawing of the Superquadro engine on the fairing, which further emphasises the tribute's focus.
High-end components have been used to enhance the motorcycle's performance and aesthetics. These include Öhlins suspension and steering damper, Rizoma adjustable footpegs, and various carbon fibre parts. The bike also comes equipped with Ducati's advanced electronics package, featuring cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and quickshifter, as standard.
Each unit will be individually numbered that will be displayed on the machined triple clamp and will come with a certificate of authenticity and a custom bike cover. Moreover, for track enthusiasts, the bike will also be available with a GPS module for data acquisition and optional racing modifications like a licence plate and mirror removal kit, and an aluminium tank cap.
The Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition will be available at Ducati dealerships starting October 2024 and is a unique offer for collectors and enthusiasts to own a piece of Ducati's engineering history.
