Dyson, known for its innovative home appliances, is gearing up to launch its first headphones in India. The Dyson OnTrac headphones, scheduled to debut on September 23, promise to deliver a premium listening experience with cutting-edge technology and customisable design.
Ahead of the official launch, Dyson has partnered with renowned Indian artist and music icon Badshah, who will be the brand ambassador for the OnTrac headphones in India.
Starting September 12, audiophiles can get a hands-on experience with the OnTrac headphones at select Dyson Demo stores across India. For those eager to secure their pair, pre-bookings are now open through Dyson's official website at ₹1,800.
Built with premium materials, including an aluminium body and options for CNC ceramic or anodised aluminium caps, the OnTrac headphones weigh in at 451 g.
One of the standout features of the OnTrac headphones is their customisation. Users can choose from over 2,000 colour combinations for ear cushions and outer caps, allowing personalisation to match individual style preferences.
The Dyson OnTrac headphones boast impressive features, including active noise cancellation (ANC) that can reduce ambient noise by up to 40 dB. The ANC system utilises eight microphones and custom algorithms, sampling external sound 384,000 times per second for precise noise reduction.
The headphones feature 40mm neodymium speaker drivers, producing a wide frequency range from 6Hz to 21,000Hz and ensuring deep sub-bass and clear highs.
Battery life is another strong point, with Dyson claiming up to 55 hours of playtime on a single charge, even with ANC enabled. The headphones also support quick charging, providing up to 2.5 hours of use from a 10-minute charge.
The OnTrac headphones integrate with the MyDyson app, offering features like real-time soundtracking and three custom EQ modes: Bass Boost, Neutral, and Enhanced.
