A domestic startup has launched the country’s first AI-powered electric scooter, the E3 Triton.

Bengaluru-based EV startup E3 Electric.AI has launched its flagship electric scooter, the E3 Triton, with a special introductory starting price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) for the base C1 variant. Positioned as India’s first AI-powered modular electric scooter, the vehicle features predictive intelligence, a flexible architecture, and human-centric design aimed at resolving common EV owner pain points such as range anxiety, safety, and long-term reliability.

The E3 Triton is introduced across three variants: C1, C1x, and C2. The entry-level C1 variant features a removable 2.3 kWh Voltport battery designed for convenient charging at home or work. The mid-spec C1x and top-tier C2 variants utilise a 3 kWh fixed LFP battery. The C1x delivers an Indian Driving Cycle (IDC) range of 165 km, while the C2 variant offers enhanced performance with a top speed of 82 km/h and a 0-40 km/h acceleration time of 6 seconds, supported by Eco, Power, and Sport riding modes.

At the technology core is the E3 Comandcenter, an IoT-cloud ecosystem that continuously conducts vehicle health monitoring, delivers proactive service alerts, and optimizes performance via over-the-air updates. The Tripsense Intelligent Cockpit combines a 5-inch Insight Display with smartphone connectivity to offer over 100 smart functions, including AI Healthscan 10-second diagnostics, predictive trip planning, remote battery monitoring, a dashcam, and SOS alerts.

Powered by a high-efficiency PMSM hub motor, the batteries carry an extended warranty covering up to 1,000,000 km or 8 years. Pre-bookings have opened online in Bengaluru, with introductory ex-showroom pricing set at ₹1,09,999 for the C1x and ₹1,19,999 for the C2.

E3 Electric.AI has launched the AI-powered E3 Triton electric scooter in India, priced between ₹99,999 and ₹1,19,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Offered in three variants, it features 14-inch wheels, up to an 82 km/h top speed, a 165 km IDC range, and predictive diagnostics backed by an 8-year or 1,000,000 km warranty.
