Powered by an all-new 310 cc engine, the 2025 Vespa GTS 310 can also double up as a nice touring two-wheeler.
This year at EICMA, Piaggio returned to Milan with the most powerful Vespa yet: the new Vespa GTS 310.
The Vespa GTS 310 is powered by a brand new, bigger 310 cc, liquid-cooled engine, which is basically a longer stroke version of the old 278 cc HPE (High-Performance Engine) powerplant. As a result, the total output has gone up to 25 bhp and 27.52 Nm, thus making it the most powerful Vespa yet.
Along with that extra performance, Vespa has also introduced a new ECU and electric fuel injector, which further helps the engine become more frugal. And at the same time comply with the latest Euro 5+ emission norms. To keep this extra performance under check, the 2025 Vespa GTS 310 also gets traction control, and ABS, as standard.
To enhance the GTS 310’s touring capabilities, Vespa will be offering the same with a bunch of comfort-enhancing features. These include a more comfortable seat option, windshields of various heights, and heated grips. It will be available in two variants - GTS Super and GTS SuperSport, the difference between them lies in the colour options.
But beyond these upgrades, the Vespa GTS 310 continues to look the same as before. Its iconic Italian design and those curvaceous aprons have all remained the same. This is not a bad thing, given how its design is one of its bigger iconic-recognition. By fitting a bigger engine, Piaggio just made the Vespa scooter all the more a nice sweet deal.
