It seems that Bajaj is looking to attack Honda with multiple offerings in the 125 cc space as this time around we have spotted a new Pulsar, which we likely believe is going to be the Pulsar N125. Bajaj is already working on a 125 cc CNG-powered machine, which will arrive on June 18 and is likely to be called the Bruzer 125 CNG, while this Pulsar will continue to use petrol as its main fuel source. And the aim of both motorcycles is to hurt the Honda Shine 125’s dominance.
Coming to the newly spied motorcycle, the bike gave off a very new-age N-series Pulsar vibe. The rider was seated in a rather upright and sporty-ish commuter stance, with the split seat setup similar to the likes of the Pulsar N160 and Pulsar N250 present here as well.
While we couldn’t snap it up, we did get a glimpse of the switches which had the new ‘M’ mode button on the left hand side. Hence, Bajaj will equip this bike as well with the same LCD digital dash that the Pulsar N150 and N160 get, the one sans turn-by-turn navigation and ABS modes.
We have observed that the new N-series Pulsars are far more refined and torquey than the OG Pulsars. We expect the same for the upcoming N125 with a marginal improvement in performance from the current Pulsar 125’s 124.4 cc mill that is currently putting out 11.64 bhp and 10.8 Nm.
With the move to the N-series, the 125 cc Pulsar will now get a new diamond frame that is suspended by a telescopic fork and preload-adjustable monoshock. The 17-inch rims are identical to the ones that are used on the Pulsar N150 as the spied was seen running a front disc-rear drum setup.

As the Bruzer 125 CNG is slated for a launch on June 18, we think this small baby Pulsar will arrive by the festive period, allowing the former product to gather some momentum. Bajaj’s killer pricing is expected here as well with a sub-₹ 1 lakh price tag easily expected. And if things proceed well for Bajaj like it has with the Pulsar N150 and Pulsar N160, Rajiv Bajaj’s aim of dethroning Honda from the top spot in the 125cc+ segment is definitely going in the right direction.
