Google's upcoming flagship phone, the Pixel 8 Pro, has been revealed ahead of its October 4 launch through its online 3D Pixel simulator. The Pixel Phone Simulator website briefly provided a detailed virtual look at the Pixel 8 Pro before being taken down, giving us an early glimpse at its design and features.
Twitter user @J0S3RL first spotted the Pixel 8 Pro on the phone simulator website. After that, Android expert and former Editor of XDA Developers, Mishaal Rahman, posted pictures of the phone from the simulator.
The simulator displayed the Pixel 8 Pro from all angles, showcasing its rear camera module, ports, and sensors. It confirmed that the phone will include three rear cameras - wide, ultra-wide, and 5x telephoto lenses - housed together in a single raised camera cutout, much like last year's Pixel 7 Pro.
Other notable details from the simulator include the presence of a temperature sensor next to the rear cameras, a physical SIM card slot, and speaker and microphone ports. The Pixel 8 Pro was shown to be launching in three colour options: Licorice (black), Porcelain (white), and Sky (blue).
While the simulator did not reveal full specifications, it provided the clearest look yet at Google's upcoming flagship's design and premium features. With the Pixel 8 Pro launching on October 4, this leak has given eager fans an early glimpse at Google's next smartphone.
