Bhan served as the CBO - Global Business until now and will oversee Global Product Planning
Hero MotoCorp has appointed Sanjay Bhan as its new Executive Vice President, with duties now geared towards Global Product Planning. Bhan has been with the company since 1991 and has grown through the ranks. Prior to the appointment, he was serving as the Chief Business Officer - Global Business, which helped Hero tap into several African, Southeast Asian as well as Latin American markets.
Bhan has been part of several iconic Hero bike brand launches like the CBZ Xtreme, Karizma ZMR and the Splendor iSmart. Even during the transitional period when Hero split with Honda, his direction helped the company steer towards a new identity with the “Hum Mein Hai Hero” campaign.
With the new appointment, Bhan will now also oversee the brand’s expansion into Europe and Brazil as well as play a key role in the sports vertical of Hero MotoCorp. Hopefully, his drive will see the company bringing in new and exciting products including the larger capacity XPulse 400, a motorcycle that has been in the works for quite some time.
