The New Delhi-based firm sold 17.14 lakh motorcycles and scooters during the March quarter.
Hero MotoCorp has reported its strongest financial results on record, with the world's largest two-wheeler maker posting a 29 per cent jump in quarterly revenue and a 30 per cent rise in profit after tax for the January-March period of fiscal 2026. Revenue from operations for the fourth quarter came in at ₹12,797 crore, against ₹9,939 crore in the same period last year. Profit after tax rose to ₹1,401 crore from ₹1,081 crore. EBITDA for the quarter reached ₹1,856 crore, up 31.1 per cent, while profit before tax climbed 29 per cent to ₹1,855 crore.
The New Delhi-based manufacturer sold 17.14 lakh motorcycles and scooters during the March quarter, a 24 per cent increase year-on-year, with demand holding up broadly across entry-level, premium and scooter segments.

For the full year, Hero MotoCorp's revenue from operations rose 14.9 per cent to ₹46,830 crore, with profit after tax up 14 per cent to ₹5,268 crore -- both full-year records. EBITDA for FY26 stood at ₹6,871 crore, up 17.1 per cent, with margins edging up 30 basis points to 14.7 per cent. The company shifted 64.69 lakh units across the year, a 10 per cent increase on FY25.
“FY’26 marks a defining chapter for Hero MotoCorp. Our record performance reflects not only our sustained leadership as the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for 25 consecutive years, but also our commitment to defining the future of mobility.
"This growth was broad-based, driven by a strong premium and EV product portfolio and momentum across both, domestic and global markets. As we look ahead, we are encouraged by the supportive government policies, positive consumer loyalty and sentiment, and the accelerating shift towards electrification and premiumisation. These factors position us well for FY’27, as we continue to lead the industry’s transition towards sustainable and innovative mobility solutions," Harshavaradhan Chitale, Chief Executive Officer, Hero MotoCorp, said in a statement.
On a consolidated basis, revenue grew 16 per cent to ₹47,411 crore, while consolidated profit after tax surged 32 to ₹5,776 crore.
The company's parts, accessories and merchandising arm generated ₹6,147 crore in annual revenue, whilst its electric mobility brand VIDA recorded retail sales growth of roughly 190 per cent year-on-year -- its best performance to date.
Hero's international business also hit a fresh high, with overseas dispatches reaching 4.03 lakh units, up 40 per cent, as the company pushed into Europe and the UK and consolidated its footprint across 52 markets worldwide.
