There is a ₹10,000 difference in price between the two Hero XPulse 210 variants.
Hero has made significant strides with the new XPulse 210. It’s powered by a slightly bigger engine with modern liquid-cooled technology, packs in more features than before, and promises to be much more enticing than the XPulse 200 4V. However, unlike before Hero is yet to launch a Rally variant of the new bike, so the XPulse 210 is available in just two variants – base and top.
Both get the same 210 cc engine that is good for 24.26 bhp and 20.7 Nm. The hardware components are also the same – telescopic fork and 10-step adjustable link-type monoshock, and 276/220 mm petalled disc brakes, at both ends. However, where both variants differ are in their respective features department. Here’s what they are:
Standard Accessories
For starters, the top variant of the Hero XPulse 210 is fully kitted out. From knuckle guards to luggage plates, and even a tall windscreen, all are available with this variant. The Base variant misses out on all these standard accessories.
Console

The base trim gets a basic 4.2-inch LCD display (likely to be the same as the Karizma XMR 210), which is devoid of any connectivity features whatsoever. The top variant, though, gets a premium 4.2-inch TFT cluster that supports smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alert.
ABS
It is disheartening to see Hero offer single-channel ABS still as an option. Dual-channel ABS for a bike of its kind should be standard across the board. Nevertheless, the top trim does give you dual-channel ABS with three varied modes to choose from.

Colours
There are two colour options on both trims. The base option arrives in Glacier White and Wild Red while you have Azure Blue and Alpine Silver colours to choose from on the top version.
Price
The new asking price of the XPulse 210 is ₹1,75,800 (ex-showroom Delhi), which makes it nearly ₹24,000 dearer than the old 200 4V. And in order to get the top trim, you will have to shell out ₹10,000 more. Of the two, we will certainly recommend you get the top trim as it comes with the extra layer of safety on offer.
