Holi is about being colourful and when you’re covered in vibrant hues, why shouldn’t you have cars which have unique colours too?
Holi is a festival which is all about being vibrant and colourful. Everyone on this day is roaming with loads of colours on their faces and clothes, so why not also have cars that are colourful? Well, not colourful by throwing colours on the cars, but having cars that come with vibrant colours right out of the factory. Here are five such colourful cars available in the market right now.
The Chill Lime is a new colour offered by Tata Motors and is only available on the updated Tiago EV. It’s a nice subtle yellow with a hint of fluorescent. In sunshine, it really pops out. If you get a Tiago EV in this colour, there’s no chance you won’t stand out in the crowd. The Chill Lime is the only colour that gets a dual-tone option and is available with the top-spec XZ+ Tech Lux trim.
There’s another Yellow from Tata Motors that you can choose if you want to be unique. The Sunlit Yellow on the Harrier is equally eccentric as the Chill Lime on the Tiago EV.
The Kinetic Yellow is the signature colour for the Maruti Suzuki Jimny, the brand’s most unique offering in India. It’s not the only all-wheel drive vehicle available in the brand’s portfolio but it’s the only where this drivetrain is available as standard. And getting the Jimny in the Kinetic Yellow will not only keep the eyeballs on you, it will set you apart from all the boring blacks, whites and greys on the road.
Another standout colour available on the market is the Apple Green available on the MG Comet. It’s a car that unique in the market because of its compact footprint and quirky design, getting one in the shiny Apple Green is a cherry on the cake. A bright, tiny electric vehicle is exactly what the doctor ordered to keep things fresh in traffic.
The Firestorm Orange offered by Mahindra is not only a unique colour but the car on which it is offered is equally unique too. The BE 6 is one of the two EVs that the Indian SUV giant launched in December last year. The BE 6 is a radical looking electric SUV and its radical nature is just accentuated by the Firestorm Orange colour. Get the BE 6 in any colour, you’re sure to have eyeballs follow you and this bright orange will increase the number of those eyeballs.
Skoda’s cars generally have an understated design language. They’re subtle and not in your face. The Kylaq follows the same ethos too. But when you get Skoda’s new subcompact SUV in Olive Green, the understated nature of the Kylaq takes a back seat. The Olive Green has a hint of yellow in bright sunshine but it’s otherwise a very nice shade of vibrant green.
