Honda Activa E Electric Scooter To Get TFT Screen

Honda is gearing up to launch its first electric scooter in the Indian market and has released its latest teaser. The Honda Activa electric scooter will be launched on November 27. The latest teaser confirms that the upcoming electric scooter will feature a TFT screen. Via the TFT screen pic, one can gauge many details of the upcoming Honda Activa electric scooter, it will get two ride modes - standard and sport, a range of over 100 km and navigation. The teaser video also shows a basic LCD console signalling that the Honda Activa electric scooter might get two variants.

From the first teaser, the Japanese brand has been using words such as “enthralling, enigmatic and enchanting”. This leads us to believe that the upcoming scooter might be called the Honda Activa E. The previous teasers also confirmed that it will get LED lighting and a conventional mid-drive motor. 

The above aspects indicate the Honda Activa E will be a premium electric scooter and will compete against the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and the Ather Rizta. So we expect the Honda Activa E to be priced between ₹1.30 to 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
