The ADV160 is the flagship scooter offering from Honda and is also the only flex-fuel compatible scooter on sale in our country.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has officially launched the Honda ADV160 in the Indian market. The new Honda 160 cc scooter has been priced at ₹1.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and will be locally manufactured and not assembled in our country. The new ADV160 will be the flagship scooter offering from the Japanese brand and will be sold through Honda RedWing and BigWing dealerships. Bookings for the scooter has started on the HMSI website for ₹5,000 and deliveries for the Honda scooter will commence by mid-October, 2026. The Honda ADV160 competes against the Hero Xoom 160 and the Yamaha Aerox 155. It’s also the first scooter in India to run up to E85 flex-fuel compatibility.
Powering the Honda ADV160 is a 157 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that develops 15.8 bhp of maximum power and 14.7 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with Honda's automatic CVT transmission, The flex-fuel-compatible powertrain also reflects Honda's commitment to supporting cleaner and more sustainable mobility solutions.
The scooter is underpinned by a double-cradle frame, with suspension duties handled by 31 mm telescopic front fork and gas-charged twin rear shock absorbers. Braking performance comes from a 240 mm front disc brake and a rear drum brake, while dual-channel ABS is offered as standard to enhance rider safety.

Staying true to its adventure-focused design, the Honda ADV160 rides on 14-inch wheels wrapped with block-pattern tyres. It features an accessible 780 mm seat height and weighs 134 kg. The rugged styling is complemented by a central spine chassis, wide handlebars, and a multi-position adjustable windscreen that helps reduce wind blast during highway rides.
The scooter features 27 litres of under-seat storage and also comes equipped with a front storage compartment. It also gets goodies such as a USB charging port, keyless ignition, fully digital LCD instrument console, turn-by-turn navigation and an all-LED lighting system. On the safety front, the Honda ADV160 gets traction control and dual-channel ABS.
