The facelifted Honda Elevate will likely get minor aesthetic updates and some new feature additions.

Following the market introduction of the updated City, it looks like Honda is now turning its focus toward refreshing its SUV portfolio. A heavily camouflaged test mule of the Elevate compact SUV was recently spied undergoing road evaluation, signalling that development is well underway.

The upcoming refresh will mark the first significant update for the Elevate since its initial launch. The SUV is expected to retain its signature boxy, upright proportions and robust stance while receiving a series of subtle aesthetic tweaks to keep it looking contemporary. Visual modifications are likely to be concentrated at both ends, featuring redesigned LED headlamps, re-profiled front and rear bumpers, and revised graphics for the LED taillight clusters.

Inside the cabin, Honda is anticipated to up the premium quotient by introducing fresh upholstery options and revised trim finishes. To better compete in its highly contested segment, the updated model will pack several modern convenience and technological features.

Mechanically, the midsize SUV will likely remain unchanged, carrying forward the proven performance characteristics of the outgoing version. Powering the Elevate facelift will be the familiar 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. While the City gets a hybrid powertrain as well, we aren't sure if that’ll ever make it to the Elevate.
