The new Honda Amaze will make its market debut on December 4, 2024.
Honda Cars India has released new teaser images for the highly anticipated third-generation Amaze sedan, showcasing the vehicle's fresh design updates and an array of modern features. Positioned as a direct competitor to the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor, the new Amaze will make its market debut on December 4, 2024.
The new-gen Honda Amaze sedan displays a striking redesign, focused on offering a more refined look both inside and out. From the released sketches, it’s evident that Honda has introduced a dual-tone interior cabin layout, aiming to create a more luxurious and spacious feel. The dashboard features a free-standing infotainment screen, equipped with touch-capacitive buttons situated on the right side. The HVAC panel also includes a small digital display, showcasing a design trend similar to those found in higher-end models.

Other notable design elements include rectangular AC vents and a unique mesh-type pattern across the dashboard, adding to the vehicle's overall sophisticated look. A new three-spoke steering wheel with integrated controls has been introduced, along with a semi-digital instrument panel, which is likely to offer easy-to-read information for the driver. The seat upholstery is finished in beige, giving the cabin a warm and premium ambience.
Honda has taken a significant step forward with the new Amaze by introducing features aimed at improving comfort, convenience, and technology integration. The vehicle comes with automatic climate control and cruise control among other notable features.
For tech-savvy users, Honda has equipped the Amaze with Type-C charging ports and a wireless charger, catering to the increased demand for modern connectivity options. The centre console houses cup holders, a 12V power outlet, and other convenience features aimed at enhancing everyday usability for drivers and passengers alike. An advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) suite is also expected, positioning the new Amaze as one of the most feature-laden options in its category.

Mechanically, the third-gen Amaze is expected to retain Honda’s tried-and-true 1.2-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine. This engine is likely to be offered with a choice between a 5-speed manual transmission and a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
