Kia India has sold almost 65,000 cars with ADAS, while Hyundai has sold nearly 1.25 lakh cars with this safety tech.

Honda Cars India has sold more than 50,000 cars equipped with ADAS. The first car to be offered with this safety suite, called Honda Sensing, was the City e:HEV (City hybrid) which was introduced in May 2022.

Three trims of the City - V, VX and ZX - get ADAS.

ADAS is now also available throughout Honda’s portfolio in India including cars like the Amaze, City and Elevate. The fifth-gen City got ADAS when it was facelifted in March 2023, while the Elevate and Amaze had it since launch, September 2023 and December 2024, respectively. Honda also mentioned that ADAS-equipped variants of the Elevate, City and Amaze account for 60, 95 and 30 per cent of the total sales, respectively. While ADAS is available on the top-spec ZX trim of the Elevate and Amaze, it is available on the V, VX and ZX trims of the City.

Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India, said, “Achieving the milestone of 50,000 ADAS-enabled vehicles on Indian roads reflects our unwavering commitment to enhancing safety for all. This achievement not only aligns with our global safety vision but also demonstrates the growing preference and acceptance of Indian consumers to advanced driver assistance technologies.”
