Honda India announced a significant boost to its manufacturing capabilities with the inauguration of a new, state-of-the-art engine assembly line at its Global Resource Factory in Manesar. This cutting-edge facility marks a strategic step towards Honda’s ambition to become a leading two-wheeler exporter.

Designed specifically for Completely Knocked Down (CKD) exports, the new assembly line has a production capacity of 600 engines per day. These engines will cater to a wide range of motorcycles, spanning from fuel-efficient 110cc options to 300cc machines, ensuring Honda can cater to diverse global customer preferences.

Established in 2001, the Manesar factory was Honda's first two-wheeler manufacturing facility in India. The iconic Honda Activa, its first mass-produced model, rolled off the Manesar assembly line. Over the years, the facility has transformed into a crucial export hub, contributing significantly to India's position as a global automotive leader.
